ASSUMPTIONS
Time. Savings assume a liner change takes about 4.5 minutes with a traditional 32-gallon receptacle and about 1.5 minutes with REV360, based on our side-by-side time study of removing the full bag, relining and securing the liner, with servicing every day of the year. Labor is valued at the hourly wage you enter.
Liners. The traditional comparison uses a typical 33×40 low-density liner (17.42 sq ft; 23 gal actual capacity, though sold as “33 gal” for the can size it fits). REV360 uses the Drawtuff DT2838 (15.04 sq ft; 29 gal actual capacity). That is 0.52 sq ft of material per gallon versus 0.76, about 32% less. Liners are valued at about $0.45 per change (traditional) and $0.34 (REV360).
Injury claim. The optional $47,316 is the average lost-time workers’ compensation claim for 2022–2023 accidents (NCCI data via NSC Injury Facts). It is an illustrative one-time amount, shown separately from annual savings, and is not a guarantee that REV360 will prevent any injury or claim.
“[REV360] is a smart, well thought out, common sense approach to solving a very common lifting injury. No one wins when a valued employee is injured and I believe [REV360] offers the first innovative response to one of the major causes of back issues within the janitorial services industry. ”
– Lyall Smith, Physical Plant Consultant, Director of Property Services, Burlington School District
According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, there were 21,100 nonfatal injuries involving days away from work in private industry for janitors and cleaners in 2020. Nearly 20% of those injuries were related to containers and worker motion or position.
REV360 can make your workplace safer.
